Musical 2015 - June 12

Fordham University

  Dance Musical, Spring 2015

Musical Introduction:

Katie was reading her book about gravity. Suddenly an apple fell on her and opened up her imagination. She desired to escape gravity and finally found a solution! Never did she expect that this solution would lead her on an unforgettable journey where she would find something special, something unexpected, and something that she never knew existed. When she reached her destination, did she really get what she wanted?

Notes from the Musical Director:

This is the first dance musical showcase at the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. It's my great pleasure to work closely with the students at Fordham who strive to enrich their campus life and bond with one another through teamwork. With guidance from RP and Ren, all participants have worked very hard and dedicated much effort and time to this production.

This project has been challenging because many students don't have a dance background or any stage performance experience. Yet it's a rewarding experience for all of us. It is absolutely amazing to observe the students' learning progress and to witness their total commitment to all the practice sessions and workshops for this musical production.  Each participant commits a great effort in time and energy. Together, they not only learned to move well with music, but they also learned to work with each other as a team and to contribute to enrich the students' life at the Lincoln Center campus. I am very grateful for this opportunity to work with such a wonderful team!

Thank you,

Jenny He
