Welcome to the Robert L. Mason Auditorium!
FC Theatre is proud to open Disney’s The Little Mermaid, our first production of the 2025–2026 season, entitled “Where Wishes Lead: A Season of Unexpected Journeys.”
This season, we invite audiences to embark on a series of extraordinary adventures, where wishes ignite, dreams take flight, and the path ahead is never quite what it seems. Where Wishes Lead explores the power of hope, the challenges of transformation, and the magic that unfolds when we dare to step beyond the familiar.
In The Little Mermaid, this theme comes vividly to life. Ariel’s longing to be part of the human world is more than just a wish—it is a journey of identity, sacrifice, and discovery. Her dream carries her far from the safety of her father’s kingdom and into uncharted waters, where every choice brings both joy and consequence. The story reminds us that following a dream can change us in ways we never expect: some beautiful, some difficult, but all essential to growth. Ariel’s wish may be for a new life on land, but her true journey is one of courage, self-discovery, and learning what it truly means to find her voice.
As we begin this season, The Little Mermaid serves as the perfect opening chapter. It challenges us to consider our own wishes—what they cost, what they teach us, and how they might lead us to unexpected places. Like Ariel, we may find that the journey itself is where the magic lies.
We are confident this show, and the season to come, will showcase the many talents of our FC Theatre students, both onstage and offstage, allowing them to grow as artists, performers, and people. Thank you for your continued support of FC Theatre and the Performing Arts in Franklin Township!
