Barbara Reggi
Born and raised in Italy, lived in several Countries before moving to NYC. I began dancing in Italy at the age of thirteen. On and off I danced ballet, jazz dance, and latin dances. Although dancing has always been my passion, I intermittently danced based on which part of the worlds I was working. Only recently I had the opportunity to attend dance classes regularly and this has really given me a renewed and positive energy in my day-to-day life. There is a bit of insanity in dancing that does everybody a great deal of good.

Vincenzo Pugliese
Vincenzo Pugliese began ballroom dancing just a year ago, and today, he’s performing in his very first showcase. He will dance an energetic, modern tango with his teacher, Ia Nodia, spiced with flamenco steps to honor his Latin American, Spanish, and Italian roots. His true passion—and challenge—is the Waltz, which he will perform with his teacher, Slava Bardin, seamlessly alternating between the roles of leader and follower. This heartfelt Viennese Waltz is dedicated to his spouse, David, as it is his favorite song from a musical film. “Dancing has brought so much joy and inspiration into my life,” Vincenzo shares. “It has allowed me to meet wonderful people and discover the beauty of this art form.”

Olga Atlas
Olga was heavily involved in creative process. She was exploring the concept of light vs. darkness and wanted to relay this theme to the audience. Fashion, music, choreography and image had to align with the concept. Light and darkness are always intertwined and constantly in a competition with each other, which is portrayed throughout the dance.
Scarves exchange is the most symbolic and paramount moment in the entire routine as it depicts the impact these forces have on each other and always will be a part of each other. However, as they are on opposite sides of the spectrum, they have to walk away from each other in this never-ending cycle. This captivating, enchanting and emotional performance has a deep meaning for Olga and this is her favorite dance from her entire repertoire.
