Frank Cain

as Manager, Eddie Slim

Frank holds a Bachelors of Music Management from Luther College and an Executive MBA from Capella University. He is excited to share his love of Opera with others and develop a fresh approach to the genre that will transcend cultural lines.
Melanie Cain

as Mel, Vocals

Dr. Melanie Cain holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance/Opera Production and a Masters of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Received her BA in both Music and Art from Luther College in Decorah, IA. Melanie is the Vice President of Board of Directors NATS, Co-Director of The Metropolitan National Council Auditions Wisconsin District, and Artistic Director of Fresco.

Becky Pan

as Becky, Cello

Becky Pan has been playing cello for 19 years and earned a MM in Cello Performance from the UW-Madison in 2009. She runs a cello studio in Verona and has taught chamber music sessions and judged local youth artist auditions and competitions. Additionally, Becky performs with Fresco Opera Theatre, the Cassiopeia string quartet, and with local orchestras such as the Madison Symphony Orchestra.
Marie Pauls

as Marie, Violin

Marie Pauls has been a performer and private teacher in Madison since 1998. She earned a BM and MM degrees at UW-Madison, where she received a full scholarship to study with Sally Chisholm. Marie has performed with Oakwood Chamber Players, Madison Symphony and at the Music Educator’s National Conference. Outside the classical realm, she performs with the rock group Evan Riley Band.
