A Chorus Line -  What started out as a group of dancers known as "gypsies" getting together in 1974 and recording their stories of life, love and the theatre, is currently the 6th longest running Broadway Musical ever. Under the direction and choreography of Buffalo's own Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line was the 1976 winner of 9 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This musical about the making of a musical told through the audition process is still the ultimate piece of theatre about the theatre. A truly great show with great music (Marvin Hamlisch), lyrics (Edward Kleban) and book (James Kirkwood Jr, Nicholas Dante). Forty-two years later the show is as powerful as it's ever been, because at it's heart, it's a story about people and what they're willing to sacrifice to do what they love to do.

Due to some adult content/language there have been a few changes made to the Libretto to make it more High School Musical friendly. Nothing suffers with these changes. The show still gives the audience everything it always had.

Like any of the past productions that I've been involved with at Frontier, this show couldn't have been done without Tina Voto & Jenn Kiener. Their talent and guidance are invaluable. Ultimately, these kids are the ones that make it all special. And they wasted no time diving in and embracing this one singular sensation of a show.

Sit back, relax and let's take it from the top...a five, six, seven eight!
