Cheri Walker-Owens
Director / Sound Design
Cheri (she/they) is excited to share her "first" directing project with you all! While you may have seen her debut as a director with Dracula last year at the Garfield Park Arts Center, she has been preparing her vision for The Taming of the Shrew over the last 2 years and it feels unreal that it is finally being brought to life. She enjoys directing a lot but also loves the stage. Her recent performances include being an ensemble member in Frozen: A Drag Parody Musical with Indy Drag Theatre, Ross in Macbeth with GSC, and Olivia in Twelfth Night also with GSC. She likes to collect theater skills and has also done plenty of stage management, stagehanding, costume design, set building and sound design.
