 About The Crew

    Director

    Josh Hensley (Director) is an actor, writer, director, and column award winning designer (Lights, Peter and the Starcatcher, Firehouse) with a BFA in theatre from Tarleton State University.  In 2014, he directed and designed Evil Dead The Musical Which was nominated for Best Musical in The Dallas observer's Best of Dallas.  Since then he has directed Watson: The Last Great Tale of the Legendary Sherlock Holmes, The Man With Bogarts Face, Legends! And the US premiere of The Widow at Garland Civic Theatre. Design credits also include Godspell (Lights) at CTD, Rent (Set) Stellar Arts Academy, A Soldiers Play (Set) AART.  Josh is the Technical Director at Naaman Forest High School.

    This is my third show for the GCT. I previously stage managed The Widow, and also played Emily, in the GCT’s production of In Laws, Outlaws, and Other People (That Should Be Shot).  Recently, I played Penelope in Bye Bye Birdie for the Company of Rowlett Performers. I’m currently attending U at Dallas for an Arts and Performance degree. Thanks to my family and friends!

    Jose Mendoza, crew member for The 39 Steps. He is very excited and eager to be working in his first production at the Garland Civic Theatre. He is very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this great show, and is looking forward to working with such a great cast and crew. He’d like to thank his family and friends for their encouragement and support.

    Brandon Jennings is excited to participate with GCT as a member of the tech crew. As a student of Naaman Forest High School, he appeared in the play Chemical Imbalance as tech crew and silent cast. Brandon looks forward to attending Collin Community College, and participating in their theatre department, as well as earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology.
