"URINETOWN presented us with a unique challenge. Not only did our team have to conquer the logistic and financial challenges of filming a stage show while under COVID restrictions, but we were also working with hotbutton subjects. At first glance this show is an odd, comic-book style fantasy, but don't let the humor and quirkiness dilute the message.

The issues of government control, mandated restrictions, ecological devastation, and even 'overpolicing', touch the very nerve center of our lives and jump from our daily headlines. This production requires us as performers and audience members to confront some big things...things we can't ignore. For me, that is the purpose of the arts - to
push us past our personal comfort and complacency, to offer a voice to those who cannot speak loudly enough, and to show society it's reflection - for those reasons I eagerly and proudly took on this
project.
