A Midsummer Night's Dream - June 16 - June 25, 2022

Geek Parties of the Grand Valley

 Who's Who

  • Louise Clyde

as Quince the Florist, Mustardseed, Egeus

Louise is not an actor. She just showed up to rehearsal one day and we didn’t have the heart to ask her to leave.

  • Kiah F

    as Bottom the Weaver, Diana

Kiah Freeman, not yet 30, graduate of CSU (go Rams!) and UNC (the one that's good at basketball). This is her first production with Geek Parties, but she does love getting herself involved in more than she should (i.e. volleyball, hockey, trivia nights, volunteering with the Good Samaritan Clinic, helping train her husband's dog), so it's no surprise she's on stage.

  • Hanna Poscente

as Flute the Bellows-mender, Titania, Helena

    27

Theater newbie and excited to be here

She’s guaranteed to be found lifting weights, doing Pilates, climbing mountains, playing volleyball, or laughing. Keep up with her adventures on Instagram @hikinghan.

  • Christopher Dion

as Snout the Tinker, Peaseblossom, Demetrius

Age: 26 cycles around the sun. Graduated Colorado Mesa University, attended Fruita Monument High School. Performance Highlights: Persian Palace Poisonings - Commander Art, Cosmic Chaos Catastrophe - Airman One. 1st production with this theatre? Yes. Things I enjoy doing: Lifting weights, riding motorcycles, painting, reading, hiking, shooting, and singing karaoke.

  • Heather Nicholson

as Starveing the Tailor, Master of Revels

Heather L. Nicholson has been an English teacher for 12 years, a theater geek for much longer, and a Shakespeare fan almost all her life. She is one of the founders of Geek Parties of the Grand Valley and helped plan their first informal gatherings, including a Midsummer Night's Dream party with a potluck, ass-head pinata, decorations, and costumes. She has directed two of the Summer Shakespeare Series productions: A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2016 and Much Ado About Nothing in 2019. This is the first time she has had an acting role in an SSS play.
