    Kimberly Basham has been active in theater since Jr. High. She has a minor in theater from UNC and performs daily for the middle schoolers at Summit. Highlights include Sarah from Quilters, Sister from Damn Yankees, Sarah Jane Moore from Assassins, Aunt Deb from Kimberly Akimbo, and Fairy Godmother from Descendents. She hopes that you enjoy the show!

    Dan Collins is embarking on a second career in the entertainment industry as a writer, producer and director. He currently works on property rights, development and sales. He’s also a Navy veteran having served on nuclear submarines.

    Dan’s creative talents include being the published author and illustrator of a children’s book that is now being republished and on a marketing campaign. He’s written scripts on topics such as Area 51, space and science fiction adventures inspired by his submarine and underground mining/exploration experiences and collaborations with NASA consultants, as well as fantasy tales exploring dreams and spirits in real-world settings.

    This is Carlene’s (they/she) debut with GPGV, and they are delighted to work with this talented group! Carlene has performed with many local ensembles most recently as Kim in “Kimberly Akimbo” with Get Uncomfortable Productions, which was her first ingenue role! Last summer, you may have seen them in “Don’t Step on My Footprint” The Theatre Project. Carlene graduated with a BA in Visual & Performing Arts from CMU. In her junior year, she was nominated for a Regional Irene Ryan Award for the ensemble show, “The American Dame.” Other favorite roles through the years include Frau Schneider in “Cabaret” The Theatre Project, Joan in “The Guys” Two Chairs, and Truvy in “Steel Magnolias” Atomic Theater. Mostly retired, Carlene’s company Create Real Growth works with select organizations that want to improve business results as responsible employers and community stewardship. They are so grateful for your support of live theatre and hope you have a Sweet time tonight.
