 Crew Who's Who

  • Heather Leppard head shot

    Heather Leppard

(Co-Director, Music Director, Technical Director) is in her 16th year teaching music, but is excited to be directing her first full-length musical. She holds Bachelors degrees in Voice and Cello Performance and a Master’s n Music Ed. During her career she has taught orchestra, choir, guitar, band, general music, music tech, AP Music Theory, and musical theater to thousands of students in grades TK-12. A longtime theatre kid herself, she has especially loved doing this show with her own child, Kit, as they have risen to the challenge of choreographing and performing in the show. She has also enjoyed rediscovering her love of the technical side of theater and all she has learned throughout this process. Ms. Leppard is grateful for the support of her family and for FoGALA making it financially possible for GALA to produce their first (of many!) shows. She is also looking forward to a short break in her relationship with Home Depot and sleeping through the night!

  • Arden Houghton head shot

    Arden Houghton

(Co-director) Ms Houghton is incredibly excited to be directing her first musical! While she teaches Algebra 2, she received her degree in Theatre. In college, she participated in many shows through acting, directing, set-building, and stage managing. She has dreamt of putting on a full length show at GALA ever since she taught a Theatre elective online during COVID! She is very proud of all of the hard work that the cast and crew have put into this show and can’t wait to see it all come to life!

  • Mina Hoffman head shot

    Mina Hoffman

(Stage Manager, Student Director, U/S Mortica) is a senior, working both onstage and off in GALA’s first ever full length musical! They’ve participated in multiple other musicals, as well as GALA musical theater showcases, both as a cast member and behind the scenes. This is Mina’s first show as the official stage manager and they couldn’t be more excited to have a real reason to yell at people.
