A Word From The Director...

Just so you know, I watch reality tv, too. So no judgement.Top Chef is one of my favorites.  River Monsters, Man vs. Wild, Alaskan Bush People:  these are familiar to me. I can’t watch more than a few minutes of Keeping up with the Kardashians, but I do get down to the transitional music. Still, we can mostly all agree that ungluing our faces from screen time and enriching ourselves with some higher art benefits us all.

Frogs is both an ancient show and a brand new one. The first production by Artistophanes was performed in 405 B.C. and this most recent adaptation/remix of the work was performed in 2015 A.D. So, for over 2400 years people have been arguing about what other people should be watching.

It’s good to be back after my two year hiatus. Somehow every time I think I quit the theatre, it pulls me back in.  Being with the kids in our space feels like home to me, and I hope it has become a home for them as well. Enjoy!
