    Mrs. Dean recieved her undergrad at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she double majored in Theatre and English Education. While she was there she received a competitive acting scholarship and graduated with honors in both majors. Mrs. Dean also holds her Masters in Theatre from Texas A & M Commerce University.

    In her sixth year teaching theatre arts at Gray’s Creek she is continually amazed by the caliber of dedicated and talented students, whom she refers to as her "crazy theatre kiddos". A big thank you to her work wife, Amy Stovall for her talent, artistic vision, and friendship.

    She would like to thank her husband and fellow companion in the arts, James Dean for all of his love and support and also for the their beautiful baby girl, Alba. 

    Peace, love, and equality for all.

    Amy Stovall

    Amy Stovall is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Mrs. Stovall received her Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music degrees from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and is a National Board Certified teacher.  

     

    This is Mrs. Stovall's 1th year as the choral director at GCHS and her 15th year in education. Mrs. Stovall and her husband, Tommy, GCHS band director, live in the Gray’s Creek community with their children, Christopher (19), Ginger (11) and Patrick (5).

     

    The musical theatre program at GCHS has been incredibly rewarding for her professionally and personally. The opportunity to work with the incredibly talented and dedicated students has been more than she could ask for. She sends her love to the cast and crew and especially Warga, her work wife, for her friendship, laughter, and lots of coffee! She would like to thank Tommy and the kids for their love and support.
