Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to Theatre South's performance of Clue: High School Edition. Set in 1954, the show follows six peculiar guests, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green, Miss Scarlet, and Professor Plum, as they come together for a mysterious dinner party in a large manor, run by the manor's butler, Wadsworth. What the guests assume is just a simple dinner engagement turns out to be an adventurous and daunting night of blackmail, deceit, and espionage. Based off of the exciting board game and 1985 cult-classic film, Clue has stood the test of time with its campy antics and humor.
We would like to thank Mr. Marr for the immense amount of work he's put into this year's winter play, and all TS productions in the past. Clue was exceptionally difficult to stage, being built for a proscenium stage and filled with props, but Mr. Marr has led the cast with grace in the difficult staging process, and we can't thank him enough for his unwavering confidence in us. In addition, we would like to thank Motch, Deb, Lydia, and our assistant director, Alix Sholomon for their relentless dedication to the show and its production. And lastly, thank you to Dr. Gitz, Mr. Duggan, Ms. Applebaum, and the staff who come to support TS productions for keeping the arts alive.
Thank you so much for coming and enjoy the show!
Sincerely,
The 2019-2020 Theatre South Board
Alix Sholomon, Derek Delson, Eli Goodwin,
Kenny Lim, and Spencer Horowitz.
