As we close this chapter, I find myself lost in a whirlpool of emotions - gratitude, nostalgia, and an unmistakable sense of longing. This production has been more than a mere endeavor; it has been a delicate exploration of the human experience, a shared dream that has unfolded before us.
To this incredible cast, I want to express the inspiration I feel from each of you. You have poured your hearts and souls into your performances, transforming words on a page into living, breathing stories. Each rehearsal, each performance was not just an exercise in artistry but a profound exchange of dreams, fears, and greatest desires. You have embraced vulnerability and courage, immortalizing your characters to resonate in ways beyond comprehension. From our first rehearsal, I knew we had something special. The spirit that walked through those doors was undeniable, but it was the passion and dedication you all brought in which transformed our production into something incredible. You believed in the vision, you trusted in the process, and you gave your all, night after night.
To our extroardinary crew, your unwavering dedication has been the unseen force behind quite literally, everything. You have made the intangible tangible, and for that, I am endlessly thankful.
As your director, I am humbled to have had the privilege of guiding you through this process. But the truth is, you taught me more than any script ever could. You reminded me why I fell in love with performance in the first place. You reignited the passion that drives us as storytellers to hold up a mirror to the world and ask, "What do you see?" You have not only brought this story to life, but you have left an inexplicable legacy within myself, each other, and this community. Thank you for your artistry, for allowing me to walk alongside all of you, and for sharing your incredible talents with the world. Keep shining, my dear friends. The world needs your brilliance now more than ever. Please don't forget that no matter where life takes you, you will always have a home in the theater, and a place in my heart.
