Greenville Theatre Works

 End Notes

Notes from the Director

I'd like to thank all the cast and crew of this show for their incredible work over the past two months. Directing can be exhilirating and maddening all at the same time, and this group of talented people have made things so much easier for me as we worked through this process together.

I want to thank our GMA staff (Anita Crawford and Mike Rowland) for their support of our show and helping us behind the scenes as we put things together.

I also want to thank the volunteers who came out and helped us build our set and who are supporting our work as a community theatre here in Greenville. Your help and support are invaluable!

Massive thanks goes out to my wife, Heather, who served as Assistant Director, Costume Designer, and Photographer for the show. Your support and encouragement helped me get through the many long days I've had as we worked together with everyone to create this show.

Community theatre is a labor of love for everyone involved. Over a period of weeks and months a group of strangers come together and create a piece of art from scratch. This includes building sets, creating props, memorizing lines, learning blocking, and bringing the script to life. You, the audience, are the last piece of this amazing puzzle and we appreciate you taking time to come and enjoy our production. We hope you laugh, applaud, and have a fantastic time at our show!
