Much Ado About Nothing - July 07 - July 09, 2023

Greenville Theatre Works

 End Notes

Notes from the Director

I want to thank all the people who worked to bring this production to life. I conceived of this version of Much Ado back in 2013 and finally found the perfect spot to create this show. Theatre is a collaborative art form and it took the work of everyone involved to make this magic happen...thank you!!

Special thanks goes out to:

  • The GTW board for supporting our new community theatre with their time and talents
  • Scott Cowen for creating the track for "I Don't Need You Anymore", the song you'll hear in the show
  • Andrew Nadres and Brookshire's for donating water for our actors and crew who worked in the heat to prepare this show
  • Wesley UMC for allowing us to use their beautiful church for our rehearsals
  • John Hayden and the W.Walworth Harrison Public Library for the use of their space, bathrooms, and support for the show
  • Our friends at Greenville Family Theatre for supporting our work and helping us bring theatre to our city for kids and adults

Finally, I want to thank YOU, our patrons, for coming out to see the show and taking the time to look through our program. Without you we couldn't continue the work of bringing theatre to Greenville. I hope you will share your experience with your friends, purchase tickets to future shows, and continue supporting the arts in our community.

I hope you enjoy our show and thank you for coming!

Theatre is always a self-destructive art,

it is always written on the wind.
