NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR
Hello and Welcome to the Puffs, Hiiiii!!!!
The Puffs, spoiler alert, is not a house every person dreams of being in but when a hat speaks, you listen.
From the very first moment I saw Puffs, I was captivated. Before me was a play that brought such joy and heart that I couldn’t not want to don my yellows and become one of them, a puff. This school year has had its ups and downs, more than any other year, from school cancelations to quarantines, sicknesses, and everything in between. But through it all, I can say I am so truly blessed to have some of the best students a drama teacher could ask for. Not only did they step up when the going got tough but they were always there to lend a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. If you take anything away from the show today please take this, the hard work and love of theatre from everyone involved and the knowledge that everyone has a little bit of badger in them you just have to know where to find it.
To My Senior’s -
Mark- The old in spirit but not in energy. You did well painting, I am Proud.
Katherine - The smart and beautiful your quick wit always left us smiling. Thank you for loving K-pop and dramas as much as my mom.
Vicky - The ball of sugar and spice that no one sees coming. Thank you for always giving me your all no matter what I asked you to try, even the backflips.
Aleah - The triple threat with so much potential. Thank you for always being on your A game and making Megan so much more than I thought possible.
Emma - The Rock (not Dwayn Johnson). Thank you for being the leader of the puffs and proving to me time and time again how right I am in how talented you are.
Easton - The shining example of a Puff. Thank you for putting your all into Oliver and being the perfect spoon. You are now officially a Thespian and Theatre Kid welcome to the club we are so lucky to have you!
Break a leg my Badgers and as I always say, be there for each other, don’t drop the ball, and most importantly have fun, because if you're not having fun what's the point of doing it?
Third or Nothing!
