Sara Barron
D/C Team
Sara is thrilled to be part of the DC team. She has contributed her skills to help with marketing and media material, scenic design and creation, and props. Productions include Legally Blonde (2020), Into the Woods (2019), FAME (2018), Peter Pan (2016), and Aida (2012). Her most proud contribution to Glendale Arts is the logo that has brought recognition to the program. Seeing the logo on the t-shirts of students and staff brings her immense joy. Sara will always remember how this unique group of people worked collaboratively to compose a musical during a time when putting on a production sounded impossible to many. The musical theatre class was a space where everyone could share their creativity and love of the arts. Sara would like to thank everyone in the CATS musical for her warm welcome into their team. She would like to especially thank her fellow teachers for their endless support, though there are not enough words to express her sincere gratitude

Megan Benjafield
D/C Team
Megan is excited to join the DC team as Director and Vocal Director. This is Megan's first full GA production. Previous shows include Legally Blonde (2020), Mary Poppins (2018), West Side Story (2012), Anne of Green Gables (2008), and more. She also wrote, directed & produced her own musical Breadwinner (2010) at the Toronto Fringe Festival. This has been a chaotic show and Megan has been so impressed by the resilience of the students. It has been so exciting for her to watch everyone learn new skills and embrace a new creative process. Megan would like to thank the students for diving head-first into these unknown waters. Next, she would like to thank the Directorial Team for their support and sharing of the workload. A shout out to Sara for jumping in halfway through the show and taking so much off the team's shoulders. She would also like to thank the admin for fielding all of the wild ideas, and to Allan, for his patience and support next door.
