Devonae Ashman
grade 8, is playing Captain Seagull. She is the understudy for the Queen of Hearts. She brings a lot of performance experience to the stage as she was Cassie in Dreaming on Tar Beach, and Older Ruby in Sojourner's Truth, part of the ensemble in Jimbo Walker's Red Hot Tie, female pilgrim in the Thanksgiving play at Nellie K. Parker and is part of the Dance Crew. She also assisted on the Back Stage crew in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate. Her interests include track, soccer, year book club, and dance

as Queen of Hearts
8th grade, is the Queen of Hearts, She is also on the production team as a choreographer and costume designer. She debuted on our HMS stage last year in the ensemble of Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate as a pirate, an oyster, and as the understudy for Scummy. Other performance experience includes dancing in Dance Evolution and Dance Crew 2. She is also the president of the HMS Student Council.

Dylan Nicholson
as King of Hearts
an 8th grader, is returning to the stage as the Doorknob and the King of Hearts. He has been on the HMS stage as Grunt and Willy in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate and Overbearing Mother in Emotional Baggage. This veteran performer brings to the production a good deal of experience, as he has also performed in Little Shop of Horrors as Mr.Bernstein and Grimsby in The Little Mermaid.

as Mathilda
an 8th grader, returns to the stage as Mathilda and as part of the ensemble. Last year, she was the understudy for Willy in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate and the understudy for Dead End Job in Emotional Baggage. She has performed in The Little Mermaid. Mallissa enjoys volleyball, drawing, painting, video games, and watching Youtube. She's a staff writer for the HMS Journalism Club.

Caterpillar
a 7th grader, is playing the role of the Caterpillar. Besides acting, his interests include using his telescope to see the stars and playing baseball. You may have seen him as the Captain Sludge in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate. Or you've probably heard him on the HMS Morning Report, reporting the news or announcing the Word of the Week!
