HTP presents Auditions for Disney's Newsies!

When: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, March 12, 13, and 14, 6-10pm.

Where: The High Desert Center for the Arts, 15615 8th Street, Victorville, CA, 92395.

Please come prepared to sing 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. MP3's only, no a cappella and no sheet music. You will be learning and performing a short dance routine. If you tap please bring your tap shoes. You will also be doing a cold read in your best New York accent. Please come prepared to stay until dismissed. There may be call backs on Sunday, March 17, time TBD.

Please note: We will be starting rehearsals in early April on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6:30-10:00pm, and one Saturday per month, dates and times TBD.

Due to the fact that we only have 5 short months in which to bring a show of this level of difficulty up to the caliber needed for performing, you will only be allowed 3 unexcused absences.

Please bring a list of conflicts with you for the time period of April 2-September 21. These dates include all rehearsals, tech weeks, and performances.

We are very excited to bring this production to the stage and look forward to seeing both old and new faces at auditions!
