Matthew Jenkins

as Coalhouse

Matthew Jenkins is a junior at HCHS. He has loved musical theatre since birth and has been apart of the HCHS theatre department since his freshman year. Some past productions he has been in include The Wiz (Winged Monkey) and Clue: On Stage (Mr. Boddy). He hopes you enjoy the show!
Makayla Styles

as Sarah

Makayla Styles is a senior at Harris County High School and is delighted to be part of Ragtime. When she is not dancing to “New Music,” Makayla is often involved in various activities within Harris County’s Bel Canto Choir. Some of these include: All-State and All-Districts Choir, Literary Competition and LGPE. Some of her previous shows at HCHS include Voices in Conflict, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and The Wiz. She hopes that after seeing the show you will forever ride the “wheels of a dream!"
Taylor Luiz

as Mother

Taylor Luiz is currently a senior at Harris County High School and has enjoyed every single minute she has spent with the theatre department. Her proudest achievements in theatre have been her role in Women and War, co-directing The Gift of the Magi, and being Props Master for two one-acts consecutively. Her other achievements as a high school senior include being the Vice-President of SGA, the Vice-President of the Tri-M Music Honors Society and graduating this May with Honors with Distinction. She has loved every single person in the theatre department and has appreciated every opportunity she was given in order to be a part of such a wonderful theatre family. She is so thrilled to be a part of such an influential show and hopes you enjoy it as much as she has!
John Barfield

John Barfield is a junior at HCHS. This is his 8th show, and this school year alone he was 6 shows! He hopes you enjoy the show and "listen to that Ragtime!"
