I am honored to be the director for the sixth time at Haviland Middle School. The hard work and long hours that these students put into this show, is inspiring! They are amazing and I am so proud! Thank you all for "letting it go" with me!
I would like to thank my husband for building the sets and helping with the lights and sound. He brought my vision to life and it looks great as always. Thank you to my family, friends and co-workers for supporting me. Eric Shaw and Melinda DiMaio for giving me the opportunity to do what I love. Mrs. Klos for being an amazing music director and agreeing to come back to HMS and team up with me yet again! Also, for the amazing drawing/painting that she helped create. Michelle Pagan, for constantly helping me with fun little tasks for the play, including stage combat! and drawing/painting the beautiful door.
And finally, the Cast and Crew. We have come a long way from auditions in September. I hope that you learned a lot and had a great time. Thank you for listening and being patient with one another. Thank you for the imagination, the laughter, hard work and as always, the quiet, graceful feet!
8th graders, I hope you enjoyed your final performance at HMS. It has been such a joy watching you grow and learn. I wish you all the best and I can't wait to cheer you on as you take your final bow on stage!
To my students, break a leg and maybe some ice and don´t forget to have quiet feet!
