Ms. Danielle Russo, for being so supportive, so giving, and so wonderful to work with. You continue to make each return to the stage seamless and positive for the cast, crew, and us!

Mr. Kevin Pfister, Mr. Art Mazzacca, and Ms. Cheryl Pasquale, for doing the never-ending job of keeping this place running.  Your continued support is forever encouraging, and we cannot thank your support of the arts enough! 

Dr. Richard Spirito and the Board of Education, for making sure Hawthorne students have artistic opportunities like this to grow, develop, express themselves in healthy and creative ways, and show off their many talents!

Mr. Darin Miller and the HHS Trades Class, for designing and creating our bed and set pieces on stage allowing more students within the building to engage in the arts while using their many talents!

HHS Athletic Department, for being so flexible to allow students to embrace their interest in the arts while still remaining strong atheletes on the field.  Thank you so much for working with students to allow them to participate in both areas!

HHS Custodial and Maintenance Staff, for keeping this almost 90-year-old building up and running.  Special thanks to the custodian night crew for being amazing coworkers who are always ready to help with a smile!

MAMMA MIA! is a jukebox musical based on the hit songs by Swedish group ABBA titled after one of their major hits.  MAMMA MIA! is the ninth longest running show in Broadway history and is beloved by fans for its catchy music, its themes about family, and the strength of friendship.  It has become a hit musical in over 60 countries on 6 different continents, adapted into multiple languages, and seen by over 70 million people worldwide.  It is no surprise that the musical has been recently adapted into two hit films starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, and Colin Firth. 

Our cast and crew has worked tirelessly over the past 2 and a half months to transform our stage into a Greek island to bring MAMMA MIA! to life.  We are so thankful for them and for our stage and tech crew for all they have done to put the show together from building and designing set pieces, painting, hair and makeup, and all of the technical aspects that go into a successful production.  

Enjoy our Spring 2024 production of Mamma Mia, and we cannot wait to see you all at our Fall 2024 performance!
