Dr. Ashton N. Bell
Assistant Director
Dr. Ashton Nickolus Bell has been involved in all aspects of theater for the past 26 years. He was an assistant director at 14, and is currently directing that show. Some of his acting credits include Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. He has directed and stage managed plays, concerts, fashion shows, television shows, and live recordings. Outside of his work with the theater, he is a Special Education English teacher at Hempstead High School. He previously taught at his alma mater, Roosevelt High School. He also taught English in the Alternative Learning Academy. He received his B.S in Special Education from Dowling College, and his M.A. in Education from Brooklyn College, and his second Master's in Educational Administration from Concordia University. He also holds a Doctorate in Theology. Additionally, he is the Chairman and CEO of the Next Generation Enhancement Programs, Inc. and the Vice Chairman for the SATB Project Inc.
Willard Meeks
Musical Director & Conductor
Willard Meeks is a is an alumni of Hempstead High School. He is an arranger, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer. He has been an integral part of several national tour with artists such as Whitney Houston, Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Holliday, Martha Wash, Richard Smallwood, and Queen Esther Marrow.
An artist in his own right, Elder Meeks is the founder of World Without End Ministry music label, under which he produced and released his debut CD entitled “HEAVEN” (The Glorious Resurrection), featuring Willard Meeks and Company. His Songwriter credits include: Glenn Jones "I Love You", Kanye West "Crack Music Late Registration" and New York Community Choir "Since You Came In My Life” and “Express Yourself”.
He has an AAS in Business from Weymouth Business and Technical Institute in New York, as well as a bachelor’s degree in music from The Manhattan School of Music. He is currently a musician at the Allen AME Cathedral.
