The Hamlet Thrill-ma-geddon - November 15 - November 23, 2019

Hermiston High School

 End Notes

Notes from the Director:

I would like to give a big "thank you" to the returning HHS theatre program veterans.  From the very first day of auditions, your leadership and kindness made the stage a safe space for everyone to learn and grow.  It was a joy to attend rehearsals with such a wonderful group of students.

A big "way-to-go" to the cast and crew members new to the HHS theatre program.  By working your hearts out and showing great patience, you achieved the level of professionalism required to put on a great show.  Let's do it again soon.

Annalise Wright: Back for a second time as Head Stage Manager? I am not worthy of your kindness. Your great attitude, patience, and big smile made this process so much easier.

Kaitlyn Curtis: I'm so happy you were able to join us for this show as Assistant Stage Manager after helping out in the past in other capacities. Your careful notations and patience with me throughout the rehearsal process are deeply appreciated.

To the senior class members of this production:

Nayeli Arreola: I am so happy we finally coaxed you onto the stage. Thank you for working on so many of our show programs over the years and for just being a big sweetie with a wicked sense of humor.

Marci Carrera: With you in the costume shop, I always breathe a sigh of relief. Thank you for continually upping the level of professionalism expected for the costume, hair and makeup crew. It will be hard to see you graduate.

Emma Rodgers: I appreciate the great passion you have for all things theatre-related. Thank you for working hard to up the stakes in your scenes.

Isabella Ganvoa: Thank you for being willing to stretch yourself as an actor.  It has been wonderful seeing you grow in the role of Gertrude.

Joy Love Breshears: Your patience and dedication to each show always shine through.  Thank you for being a quiet leader-by-example in this production and putting your all into every role.

Justin Goucher: I have had a ball seeing you grow and stretch as an actor in the many shows we have worked on together.  Thank you for your hard work.

Lizbeth Cardenas Perez: I am so glad you joined the HHS Theatre family this year. I appreciate how you jump in and help do whatever is needed backstage.

Maja Rahm: Thank you for your willingness to be a stand in for whoever might be missing rehearsal.  Also, thank you for working hard on your characterization and refusing to get frustrated.

Samuel Surber: You're the only senior I have had the pleasure of directing onstage in all five of my productions at HHS. This makes you either a huge theatre fan or a glutton for punishment.  Either way, it has been so much fun working with you and seeing what you come up with for your characters.  Thank you for accepting my copious directing notes with grace and humor.
