Courtney Lowe
Director/Music Director
Courtney Lowe has a passion for the performing arts and loves working with young performers. She has decades of experience as a private voice and piano teacher, director, music director, vocalist, and actor. Courtney is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and owns Courtney's Voice & Piano Studio. In 2017, she founded The Troupe, HPCT’s award-winning Junior Theatre Festival competition team, and continues to serve as its Director and Music Director. In 2015, Courtney was named Arts Educator of the Year by the High Point Arts Council and earlier this year was one of just 5 musical theatre educators in the nation to be named a Freddie G. Fellow. She currently serves as President of the HPCT Board of Directors and has most recently been seen on the High Point stage as Mother Abyss in “The Sound of Music” and The Ghost of Christmas Past in “A Christmas Carol: The Musical."
