Mike McMillan
Director & Set Designer
Mike has been a member of HLT for 20 years. Over the years he has been involved in many shows as director, Annie, Oklahoma and Seussical to name a few; as an actor he has portrayed Oscar in the Odd Couple and just lately, Malcolm Beineke in the Adams Family. If he is not directing or acting you can find him backstage or helping build almost all the main stage sets. He has held positions on the Board of Directors and has been involved in many of the committees. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the theatre and the many friends he has made over the years.

Amanda Mercer
Assistant Director
Amanda has been involved with Highlands Lakeside Theater for 14 years. She enjoys all aspects of the theater directing, acting, and teaching. Amanda studied Musical Theatre in college and worked several years as a local tech for national tours and entertainers in Fort Myers. Amanda has directed five shows at HLT including last season’s Addams Family. Amanda has enjoyed her Oliver! family because she loves working with school aged children in productions to help them develop their talent and grow.

Suzanne Schilffarth
Production Coordinator
Suzanne Schilffarth enjoys being a part of the HLT family. She directed The Dixie Swim Club, has performed in Arsenic and Old Lace, and Steel Magnolias, stage managed the production of Grease, and directed Men of Mahjongg in the Thakkar Pavilion. She enjoys the variety of roles that one can experience as a member and volunteer at Highlands Little Theatre; and will always be grateful to HLT for the companionship and support of its members.
