    Director

    has been involved with HLT since 1982. He has been the recipient of the Best Director Zenon award for his productions of On Golden Pond, Arsenic and Old lace, The Miracle Worker and Barefoot in The Park. He has also received seven Best Actor Zenons and four for Best Supporting Actor. He directed 9 to 5 The Musical after returning from four years in Germany, where he was the Artistic Director of the Grafenwoehr Performing Arts Center, providing theatre and general entertainment to Soldiers and their families assigned to US Army Garrison Bavaria.

    Assistant Director/Lighting Technician

    was most recently seen on the HLT stage as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, which earned him a Zenon Award for Best Supporting Actor. Tony works for McPhail’s Auto Sales here in Highlands county, one of HLT’s current sponsors. He has been a part of numerous shows here on the HLT main stage for the past ten years, and he is now in training to become a director.

    2nd Assistant Director/ Stage Manager

    is an aspiring actor/director/screenwriter/musician who has been in many productions at HLT.  His most notable performances were as Tommy in Annie Get Your Gun, Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire, and Kenickie in Grease. Aslan’s entire family is involved at the theatre and are thrilled to be a part of HLT! He is currently a teacher in Highlands County.

    has been a member of HLT for most of the last 45 years.  She has been acting for most of her life, including leading roles in Moon Over Buffalo, Odd Couple (Female), Auntie Mame, Lost in Yonkers, On Golden Pond, Once Upon a Mattress, Steel Magnolias, Doubt, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Miracle Worker.  She has also directed productions of Lend Me a Tenor, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Grease, West Side Story, AIDA, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, among others, for HLT.  She is a two-time Zenon Award winning actress, a five-time winner for Best Director, a two-time Zenon winner for Best Costuming, a four-time winner for Best Play, a Lifetime Member, and a recipient of the Jane Lou Buck Lifetime Achievement Award.  She is a retired English and drama teacher who lives in Sebring with her husband.
