“What makes us special makes us strong!” is the rallying cry of the fairytale characters in Shrek as they celebrate their victory over the tyrannical sameness of Duloc. This positive, necessary message could be the reason why, at the end of last year, a group of students started a petition to have Shrek be this year's musical. This group of now 8th grade students are the talented core of this year's production and their varied talents and differences certainly make them a special group. We are very grateful for the dedication and talents of all of our small but mighty cast. They juggled their busy schedules and rose to the challenge of putting together this entertaining production. We hope you enjoy your time in our swamp.
