Landon Hurtado

as Jack Kelly

is a Junior, and this is his third musical at HHS. His favorite part of Newsies was getting to learn how to become Jack Kelly. He’s a super unique character, and it was a journey to figure his character out! Landon would first love to thank God for giving him the ability to breathe and blessing him with this amazing group of people. He would also love to thank Mrs. Peeler, Dr. Grazer, and Chelsea for giving the amazing opportunity to play this role!! He is unbelievably thankful for them and everyone in HHS theater!!
Mehari Benson

as Davey

is a Senior, and this is their ninth show at HHS. Mehari’s favorite thing about this show is the circle the cast does before every run of the show. Mehari would like to thank Aliyah for being the best sibling ever, as well as Ryan, Kara, and Landon for being the best cast mates to ever have. Mehari would also like to thank Mrs Peeler, Dr. Grazer, Chelsea, and Mr. Horne for helping with finding the character of Davey. Last but not least, Mehari would like to thank the entire cast and crew of this show for making it one of the best I’ve ever done!
Kara Harris

as Katherine

is a Senior, and this is her ninth show at HHS. Kara’s favorite thing about Newsies was the fun she had with the people she loves while being a part of the musical! She would like to thank her family, friends, and all of the beautiful people who came to watch the show and everyone who worked so hard to put it together!

as Crutchie

is a Junior, and this is his fifth show at HHS. His favorite thing about Newsies was how much work everyone put into the set and towards the show. He would like to thank Mrs Poole, Dr Grazer, and Mr Horne for all the effort they put into this show so we could perform and do our best on stage and Aliyah for being an amazing Les.
