Mary Poppins Jr. - February 20

Holy Family Regional Catholic School

 End Notes

Director’s Note

Some shows leave a lasting mark on your heart — Mary Poppins Jr. has been one of those for me. From the very first rehearsal, I knew this production would be something special. The story’s message of imagination, kindness, and believing in the impossible has been a true inspiration to direct. Watching these incredible young performers bring this story to life with such enthusiasm, joy, and heart has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my time here at Holy Family.

Every rehearsal reminded me why I love theatre so deeply. It’s not just about the songs or the choreography — it’s about connection, teamwork, and the courage to grow together. This cast became a family. They supported one another, found their voices, and discovered that the real magic of Mary Poppins isn’t in a carpet bag — it’s in their kindness, creativity, and spirit. Seeing them shine on stage fills me with pride and gratitude.

To our graduating 8th graders — this one is especially hard to put into words. Over the years, I’ve watched you step into this space with curiosity and leave it with confidence. You’ve helped shape the heart of our theatre program through your commitment, leadership, and love for the stage. As you take your final bow here at Holy Family, know that the impact you’ve made will be felt long after the curtain closes. Your journey is just beginning, and the lessons you’ve learned through theatre will continue to guide you wherever life leads.

To the entire cast and crew — thank you for making this production such a joyful, magical experience. You’ve proven that with imagination, teamwork, and heart, anything can happen if you let it.

With love and gratitude,
Ms. Walton
Director
