I am the vocal music director for Shrek the Musical. This is my second year helping the Houston Drama Department with music and my third year teaching K-12 vocal and general music at Houston Public Schools. I'd like to thank Mrs. Bartz and Mrs. Carlson for their outstanding leadership, Mr. Koehler and others for the glorious set design and props, Mr. Papenfuss for the enchanting lights, the Houston admin, staff members, and cast parents for their loving support, and finally, every single cast member and backstage member who created a dazzling performance for the Houston community!
Mimi Carlson, Assistant Director
This is my first time as an assitant director for a musical production. I am so impressed by these students and their amazing talents not only in singing, acting, and dancing, but with leadership as well. I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in helping with this production. A special thanks to my family for being supportive and helpful.
