    Director/Producer

    An Ohio native, Ryan has been working as an actor, director, producer, voice-over artist, & vocal coach for over 15 years, and is currently chair of the Department of Theatre Arts at HU. Ryan holds an MFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Recent work includes a Kardashian-inspired production of The Importance of Being Earnest last spring.

    Melanie is a versatile soprano, having sung in numerous musical theatre & operatic productions including leading roles in Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Kiss Me, Kate (Kate/Lilli Vanessi), The Secret Garden (Lily), Guys & Dolls (Sarah), Oklahoma! (Laurey), Into the Woods (Rapunzel/Granny/Cinderella’s Mother) just to name a few. She is an art song recitalist and has been a soloist for such works as Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Hayden’s The Creation, Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915, & has sung with the Lake County Symphony Orchestra in Illinois on multiple occasions. She also performs with the professional ensemble Heartland Sings in Fort Wayne, IN. In addition to performing, Melanie teaches voice and piano lessons, music directs, & is an adjunct music professor at HU. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance from the University of North Carolina & a Master of Music degree in voice performance from the University of Illinois.

    Choreographer

    Molly is thrilled to return to HU where she recently choreographed 'Tis the Season! She has been an actor, choreographer, & summer camp director at the Round Barn Theatre since June of 2020! Molly is a proud graduate of Western Michigan University's BFA Musical Theatre Performance program! Molly's favorite choreography credits include the original musical, When Calls the Heart at the Round Barn & The Addams Family at Goshen High School. Molly's favorite performance credits include You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Sally), Carousel (Julie Jordan), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne) for which she received a Wilde Award for Best Supporting Actress. Currently, she is in The Little Mermaid (Ariel) getting ready to direct The Secret Garden as her directorial debut at RBT. She is looking forward to working towards her M.M. in Musical Theatre Voice Pedagogy at Carthage College this fall. "All of my thanks goes to God & my family!"
