Ike Torres

When he's not scribing on papyrus, you can catch him dwelling in the cracks and crevices of the city pontificating on the mysteries of the Universe. A proud citizen of the City of Trees. The stage is where he lets the words fly like lava gills in the Galapagos.

Nicole C. Limón

Nicole C. Limón is an actor/director/playwright and on the theatre faculty at California State University, Sacramento. She is founder of Matriarchy Theatre and Associate Artistic Director of Teatro Espejo. Nicole has a special interest in directing diverse, contemporary works for the stage, and advancing gender parity in the theatre field. She most recently directed DANCE NATION by Clare Barron (CSU Sacramento,) FADE by Tanya Saracho (Teatro Espejo,) BLOOD AT THE ROOT by Dominique Morisseau (Celebration Arts,) and SWEAT by Lynn Nottage (CSU Sacramento,) the latter which received six national awards at the 2021 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, including awards for Overall Production, Ensemble Collaboration, and Outstanding Achievement in Directing. She most recently was commissioned to write a play in collaboration with Teatro Nagual for the Metro Film and Arts Foundation, which premiered in San Francisco this summer.

Destiny Silva

Destiny aka Des Silva is very excited to be Stage Managing and to be a part of A Cosmic Ray of Sunshine. They have recently worked with Teatro Espejo as a stage manager for Intercultural Reflections: A festival of the Arts, Frida Kahlo by Ruben Amavizca-Murua, Electricidad by Luis Alfaro, and Lydia by Octavio Solis. They also have experience as an actor with their role of “Romina” in Enfrascada by Tanya Saracho. Des is currently enrolled at Sacramento City College studying to pursue a degree in Animal Science. For fun, they enjoy playing the guitar, spending time with friends &  family,and playing video games.
