Synopsis

Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin Jr. is sure to send you soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure.

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a wacky yet caring genie's magical powers and his frisky magic carpet to become a prince, in order to marry her. The villainous Vizier and his wise cracking sidekick parrot, Iago, secretly rewrite a law so that the Princess will have to marry the Sultan's highest-ranking official, Jafar, if she fails to choose a husband within the time allotted

Aladdin is determined to win her heart. Obstacles, however, await at every turn. It will take all of his wit, and some help from his wild, zany friend the Genie, for Aladdin to triumph over the malicious Jafar, for Jasmine’s hand in marriage.

Please enjoy ICSA’s performance of Disney’s Aladdin Jr., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
