Ionia Community Theatre

 Crew Who's Who

  • Jody Rewa

    Director

Jody lives in Ionia with her husband Adam and seven of her eight children. She enjoys boogying down with them to the smooth 33 1/3 RPM sounds of her beloved 1962 Motorola FM Stereophonic. She has directed ICT's HARVEY, SUITE SURRENDER, THE MUSIC MAN, and H.M.S. PINAFORE. Jody wishes "to blame this production on her brother Dave for giving her the XANADU soundtrack as a Christmas gift in 1980."

  • Carrie Gallagher

    Producer

Carrie is honored to produce her first show for ICT. Her children, Kaelah and Caiden, are her pride and joy. Carrie practices law at Duff, Chadwick and Associates in Ionia, is a Board Member of ICT and the Ionia County Literacy Council, and enjoys reading and cooking in her free time. Carrie recently performed in ICT's HARVEY and has prior theatre experience going back to high school and college.

  • Tony Mapes

    Technical Director

Tony works at Amway as a Color System Specialist, and lives in Ionia with his wife, Brenda and three daughters. He is the current Vice-President for ICT's Board of Directors, and has done tech for several ICT and IHS Theatre productions, and for the Ionia marching band. Tony is also a member of the trebuchet team, Masters of Mayhem, where he spends many hours fine-tuning the art of punkin chunkin.

  • Nadine Rewa

    Stage Manager

Nadine is a junior at IHS, a papergirl for the Ionia County Shopper’s Guide, and Stage Manager for YPT. She lives with her parents, Adam and Jody, and her 7 siblings, and has been very involved with YPT, ICT and IHS theatre for many years, both backstage and onstage. Nadine recently starred as Jane in IHS’s production of Disney’s TARZAN. When not going to school or being at the theater, she enjoys playing guitar, doodling with visual/graphic arts, and being a member of the Blue Crew. Nadine “would like to thank everyone in the show for their patience in putting up with me and all of my hijinx, Zoe for being a faithful crew member through the ups and downs, Jimmy for shoveling sometimes, and my mother for showing me I could never direct because she would certainly be a hard act to follow.”
