Director’s Note

Happy Holidays and welcome to Frank’s. I am thrilled you have taken some time out of these busy December days to celebrate the season with us.  Over the past weeks I have been working with such creative and talented folks while putting this show together. It has been a whirlwind. We each have busy lives, commitments and tight schedules but we join together to bring you live theater.  Today’s performance pays tribute to Frank Sinatra. From his days as a paperboy in New Jersey to boy singer to revered solo artist, his style to communicate any mood through song is indefinable.  This show will lift your spirits and warm your hearts. It includes many of  Frank‘s classic standards and some of his best loved Christmas songs. We have a few surprises in store, too!  My pleasure throughout these weeks has been surrounding myself with great talent and then putting together the pieces of this musical for your entertainment. Making those pieces fit is the challenge which makes directing so fulfilling.

This youthful cast is made up of four of the most respectful, energetic, enthusiastic, and talented  young performers I have had the pleasure to work with. I thank them for a delightful experience!

There are numerous  others to thank and I hope they know I appreciate all of the efforts.  The theater brings together so many friends new and old who have blessed my life.  I especially wish to thank my friend and music director, Maureen. She really is the wind beneath all of our wings. Enjoy our eighth show together.  In closing, Frank would say Merry Christmas but whatever winter holiday you celebrate, I hope it is a happy one!
