James H. Vernon School

 DIRECTOR'S NOTE

I am so honored to work with such talented young actors here at Vernon. More than ever, the students beam with joy and excitement to have this chance to practice and perform. The students strive every day to bring their characters to life on stage. Since the onset of rehearsals, I could see the energy level was high and the students were ready. Our drama program gives these brave young actors the opportunity to shine on stage!

To my 6th graders, I would like to thank you for being role models that inspire the younger actors. Some of you have been with me for several years now and I am so proud of your personal growth and dedication to the program! I am sad to see you go, but i know you will continue your theatrical journey at Oyster Bay High School.

I would like to thank Dr. Ianni, Ms. Raynor, and the Board of Education for providing this opportunity for our students. These productions afford students a place to learn about theater and the excitement it can bring to an audience. A very special thank you to Dr. Vacchio, Ms. Menuzzo, and Ms. Giglio Pac for all of your support! Thank you to Ms. LeMar, ms. Sanchez, Ms. Collins, Mr. Placella, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Verdone, Mr. Kane, Mr. LaBella, and Mr. Vargas for all you have done to help make this production a success. I am so grateful to have such a dedicated custodial and secretarial staff. Last, but not least, I would like to thank my family for their time and devotion to costumes, props, set pieces, painting, and me! I would like to also thank the families of Mr. Costidis, Ms. Kemp, and Ms. McDonald. We are thankful for your love and support!

Places everyone, and BREAK A LEG!

Sincerely,

Ms. Chiappardi
