as Hermes
Millie Cooke (Hermes) is incredibly grateful to be in this production! She’s loved this show since middle school, and seeing it come to life with a group as lovely as this is such an amazing feeling. Some of her past shows have been Chicago (ensemble), All Shook Up (ensemble) with Virginia Rep, Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie Parker), The Crucible (Willard), and The Pirates of Penzance (Sergeant) with Virginia Rep. She’s also had the pleasure of working on lighting for a few of the one acts here! She’d like to thank her family for always supporting her, and most of all, her best friend Clare, who had to listen to her sing this musical every day in 6th grade!

August Peterson*
as Fate 1
August Peterson (Fate 1) is elated to be a part of yet another performance by Thespian Troupe 5953. They are playing the role of Fate 1 as the Maiden. They are an inducted Thespian as well as a Virginia Thespian Officer under the role of Co-Communications. You may have seen them in roles such as Jo March in Little Women, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Khoros #4 in Medea, Ensemble in Bonnie & Clyde, and Abigail Williams in The Crucible. They have never been a part of a tech group but they are working in their first tech position as head of the makeup team. They are so grateful to continuously be given opportunities to improve in their craft and are eager for yet another successful year.

Renae Ferreira*
as Fate 2
Renae Ferreira (Fate 2) is overjoyed to be part of this Theater on the James production. She is a sophomore in Troupe 5953 and her past performances include Bonnie and Clyde (Eleanor), Medea (Khoros), and The Crucible (Susanna). She is a dance captain in Anything Goes show choir and loves all things theater! She would like to thank her friends and family so much for their support and the cast and crew for creating an incredible show.
