  • Dylan Russell*

    Director

    Dylan is a professional director/actor/playwright and teaching artist. She is chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Jewish Community High School of the Bay as well as head of the Drama Department. At JCHS, she directs and produces three full productions as well and teaches Theatre Lab and Playwriting/Screenwriting. She has taught at Cal Shakes, Actors Lab AZ, Northwestern University's National High School Institute, Marin Theatre Company and New Conservatory Theatre Center. Dylan has directed productions for the American Conservatory Theatre Conservatory, TheatreFirst, California Conservatory Theatre, Alchemy Works, New Conservatory Theatre Educational Programs, Cassandra’s Call, and Actors Lab Arizona. Favorite productions include "Future Me" (TheatreFIRST), "Cassandra" (A.C.T. Conservatory), "Persistent Vegetative State" (Dog² Productions), and "Speed-the-Play" (BRT). She is a proud member of Actors' Equity, TCG and AATE.

  • Margery Fairchild **

    Choreography

    Margery is proud to be a part of her second JCHS production! Ms. Fairchild is artistic director of Dark Porch Theatre (A Company In Residence at the Exit Theatre) and has written and staged such original works as "Hen!," "Under the Bed…A Fairytale Set In Purgatory," and "The In-Betweens, Cockroach and Eleanor," which won a BATCC award for Playwriting and a nomination for Best New Musical.

  • Kate St. John **

    Scenic Design

    Kate is a freelance scenic designer based in the Bay Area. Originally from North Carolina, she is thrilled to have been welcomed so warmly into the Bay Area theatre community. Her past productions include "Venus," "Eurydice," "Julius Caesar," "How I Learned to Drive," and "The Glass Menagerie." She is very grateful to JCHS, the cast, and the crew for giving her this opportunity.

  • Morgen Warner **

    Costume Design

    Morgen is a freelance costume designer in the Bay Area, and a recent graduate of Vassar College majoring in drama and computer science. This past summer, she was the costume design Intern at CalShakes and she has also worked at Marin Theater Company and Portland Stage Company in Portland, Maine. She is thrilled to be working at JCHS, and with the amazing cast and crew of "The Drowsy Chaperone."
