Accompanist - Mrs. Lisa Jackson is thrilled to be back accompanying the JCB musical this year! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master’s degree in the Science of Education, both from Nazareth College. She has been playing piano since her childhood, and accompanying the Phoenix Chorus since 2014. Prior to working in Phoenix, she taught music in Jordan-Elbridge and Pulaski, where she accompanied her first musical, Beauty and the Beast. Other musicals Lisa has played in include Les Miserables, Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, The Little Mermaid, and Addams Family. Outside of school, Lisa is a member of a local cover band that plays fun rock & roll music, anything from the 1960’s to today. Lisa would like to thank Mr. Logee, Ms. Grethel, and everyone else involved with Into the Woods for making this musical be such an enjoyable part of her life. Lastly, she’d like to thank her family for their never ending love and support!
Phoenix Chorus Booster President – Greg Hawthorne would like to express his appreciation to all the people behind the scenes. Parents, dedicated teachers, students and volunteers all donated their time, energy and talents, despite the trying times. These combined efforts give the Boosters the ability to continually be able to work to support the chorus and drama programs. An extra huge congratulations to everyone for getting through the last year and for believing that we could do a live show this year! This show will be a spectacular success that everyone will always remember!
Producer - Lisa Spereno has a Master's in Secondary Education with an English concentration from SUNY Oswego. She has been with the Drama Club program since her first year at JCB, thirteen years ago. She is honored to work with such a dedicated cache of adults, and even more privileged to work with the incredible talents that the students possess. This year, especially, she is proud of all of the students for overcoming obstacles no one could have imagined and for pulling together to put on this show. She also has her husband to thank for his understanding of the long hours the musical season demands, and her family that keeps her sane during this time - thanks to Dean and Julia, Joe and Karisa, and of course the lights of her life - Joey, Logan and Jackson.
