On March 14, 2020 the JCB Drama Club wrapped up The Addams Family at the Syracuse Oncenter (the last live performance in Syracuse for 2020). On March 16, schools closed indefinitely due to COVID-19. Life as we knew it had changed - in the blink of an eye. What followed was something we all lived through but still, even today, seems surreal - cancellations of major events, postponements of weddings, reunions, etc., mask mandates, social distancing, grocery pick up and doordash, and so much more. When school started in September, none of us knew what to expect. We really thought it was just a wish and a hope to have anything even resembling a live musical.
Now, here we are - we may be performing at a reduced capacity, but we are performing. Despite all the obstacles and the challenges, we are truly excited and blessed to be able to deliver these performances of Into the Woods. This is where we thank you - all of you - for your support and your belief in us. We truly appreciate you all more than you know.
