To the Senior Class of 2021...
These people made me laugh, these people have made me cry, they say hi to me on the google meets and in the hallways...
These people have made up a huge chunk of my life for the past four years. I have watched so many of them grow, and change into the incredible people that they are and I am so thankful to have been a part of their lives. This past year has not been easy. It's been one of the hardest years of my career, and I know it's not the senior year they had planned. But, I hope that they found joy, and love in these past four years...enough to take them forward into their next steps in life.
This class is so diverse, but the biggest thing that stands out to me is their love. They love big. They love loud and they never ever give up. They are the best mix of overdramatic and empathetic and they have this crazy ability to reduce me to tears nearly every other week. Normally in good ways.
I will miss their energy in so many ways, but I feel crazy blessed to see them move into their next stage of life.
And so, as we say our final goodbyes. Remember that I love you, you always have a home here. While I am normally asleep at 2am, you can always call and I'll find you...I just might be grumpy about it. It's out of love, I promise. Either way, you can always come home to Avalon.
Congrats class of 2021!
