Tim DeBoer
Director
Mr. DeBoer joined the faculty at Joliet West High School in the Fall of 2003. Mr. DeBoer holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from North Park University (2002) in Chicago, and a Master's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music (2007) in Chicago. Mr. DeBoer is a two time Grammy Nominee for outstanding music teacher, and a Golden Apple Finalist (2016).

Lori Bowen
Choreographer
Lori Bowen is excited to be back working on her seventh musical at Joliet West. She is the owner/director of La Danse Academie, and serves on the Board of Directors as Sargent-at-Arms for CNADM. She would like to thank Mr. DeBoer for letting her work with such a talented cast. She'd like to thank her husband, Marcus and her three sons for always believing she can dance through life.

Jessica Gossen
Student Director
Jess Gossen is a senior, this is her third year involved with a Joliet West musical, her first year being off-stage. Within the school, she is also the publicist for West's National Honor Society and the Alto 1 section leader in Concert Choir. Overall, she would like to thank her family for putting her into community theater all those years ago. Jess genuinely wonders who will read this bio.

Peter Lipari
Pit Orchestra Director
Peter Lipari joined the faculty at Joliet Township in 2007. He is also the conductor of the West Suburban Symphony. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois, a Master’s degree in Conducting from Northwestern University, and a Certificate of Music from University of London. Mr. Lipari specializes in a wide range of music from the symphony to the opera.

Melanie Brsan Villasenor
Rehearsal Accompanist
Melanie Brsan Villasenor is in her 15th year as accompanist at Joliet West. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance (B.M.) from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (2001). She is also director of the Joliet West Jazz Cats, principle accompanist for Naperville Men’s Glee Club, pianist for St. Paul the Apostle Church choirs, and she maintains an independent teaching studio.
