NOTES FROM THE DIRECTORS:
This was an insanely huge undertaking for a junior high cast and we are so proud of the work these kids have put in. This show demands a lot of it's cast and it's crew and these kids have risen to the occasion in amazing fashion. Because it's a full length show, everyone had to step up to the plate. Lights, sound, stage management, costumes, props, marketing were all run by students. We usually have a lot of student involvement in tech crew, but we really pushed them this year to own their show and we are so proud of them. The kids called their own rehearsals during the snow and that was amazing! The work ethic is awesome in theatre kids. Thank you so much to the parents who brought kids in the snow and ice to student initiated rehearsals and tech rehearsals. Thank you to the village of parents who shuffled Happy while Teague was working on everything else or shuffling other kids. The support we have in this district for the arts is unmatched anywhere in NEA. Thank you to Jason Sherrod for taking the lead on the set build this year since Brian's schedule was a bit more demanding. Thank you immensely to Golden Williams for fearlessly leading this amazing prop crew and never telling us an idea was too big, even the amazing Minotaur. Thank you to Jessica Fouts for always asking what she could take off Teague's plate and stepping in the gaps. Jess and Ally are an amazing music team to have, we are very blessed. Thank you to all the people who make our job the best job ever. We are so blessed to work with kids like these.
