Rylie Edwards

as The Cat In The Hat

Rylie is a 15 year old homeschooler from Camas, and is thrilled to be in her 9th show with Journey. You may have seen her as Mrs. Whatsit in A Wrinkle in Time, and as Timon in the Lion King Jr. Besides theater, Rylie enjoys painting, playing the piano, and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the artistic team for this amazing opportunity. Proverbs 27:17
Abby Mowery

as Gertrude McFuzz

Abby Mowery is a 15 year old sophomore at Columbia River High School in Pre International Baccalaureate. You may have seen her as Shenzie in Disney’s The Lion King Jr or as a narrator in Tom Sawyer TYA. She loves photography and hanging with friends. She thanks her parents for their support and love, and the Lord for all the opportunities He has given her. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Drew Forstrom

as Horton the Elephant

Drew is 18 and a student at Clark. He couldn’t be more excited to be playing Horton in his last show with Journey! This show holds a special place in his heart, as his first introduction to musical theater was seeing CYT’s production in 2007. One of his favorite roles ever was playing the part of a Wickersham Brother in 2015. Drew feels so grateful to be a part of the Journey family! Gal. 2:20
Aislyn Volk

as JoJo

Aislyn is a 3rd grader at Columbia Valley Elementary and is overjoyed to be cast in her first principle role. She thanks the artistic team for this opportunity. This is her 5th show and she loves Journey because it’s welcoming and you never feel alone. Aislyn is happy that Seussical Jr. reminds us: to keep wondering, be a good friend, believe in who you are, and then “Anything’s Possible!”
