Josiah Bartell

as Shrek

This is Josiah‘s 17th show with Journey and he is honored to play the role of Shrek! You may have seen Josiah as Rapunzel’s Prince in “Into the Woods Jr”. Josiah is a junior at Cleveland High and loves spending time with his friends at Journey more than anything else. He’d like to thank his Journey friends and family for their support while working on this role. Enjoy the show!
Chloe Stewart

as Fiona

Chloe Marie is a sixteen-year-old sophomore at Prairie High School. She is very excited to play Fiona in Shrek, her 13th show with Journey. In Chloe’s free time she likes to play with her dogs and defeat her dad at Mario Kart. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and artistic team of Shrek for being so kind and supportive. 1 Corinthians 4-8
Jared Beideck

as Donkey

Jared Beideck is 13 years old and is thrilled to be play the role of Donkey in this production of Shrek! This is his fifth show and he is so happy to be a part of Journey Theater. He enjoys singing, dancing, acting and just hanging out. He would like to thank all of the friends he’s made at Journey for being so awesome and supportive. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Matthew Beitler

as Lord Farquaad

Matthew is excited to be playing Lord Farquaad in his final Journey production. He is 18 and enrolled at Mount Hood Community College. You may have seen him in Journey’s Newsies or in Aladdin Jr as Babkak. In his free time, Matthew enjoys video gaming, strumming his guitar, and hanging with friends. He remembers one door closing is another one opening and he hopes you enjoy his final performance.
