  • Anna Ward head shot

    Anna Ward

    as Anna, Georgie's best friend

Anna Ward, a skilled dancer, brings her talent for the dramatics to the stage in KC BLAZE ENTERTAINMENT'S "RICKETY". Utilizing her sharp wit and skill for dance, she had a hand in improvising a lot of jokes in her character's monologue and even collaborating with Devynn Phoenix Yakel to create a dance for Villain of the Story.

  • Alexa Heyd head shot

    Alexa Heyd

    as Max, an Elvis-dressing rocker

Alexandria (Alexa) Heyd (Max) is delighted—and frankly surprised—to be part of the original cast of Rickety! An Original Production. She went to  Aurora University for a B.A. in Musical Theatre, Alexandria was last seen emotionally wrecking audiences as Marmee (understudy)  in Little Women (a role they approached with maternal gravitas and dangerously teary eyes). Other credits include , The Narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor dreamcoat,  The Mayor/ Squidward Understudy in Spongebob The Musical, and one regrettable interpretive dance recital they’d prefer not to discuss.

Playing Max has been a rollercoaster of heart, humor, and a lot of Elvis —and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Endless thanks to the brilliant creative team, the cast, My Family, Caffeine and anyone who’s ever supported live theatre... even when it’s rickety. Enjoy the show!
