Thank you so much for being patrons of our theatre! For some of you this might be your first experience back in a theatre. This is my first time back in a theatre in a while, and I am elated to share with you this years’ Thespian Choice performance. Thespian Choice means that our International Jr. The Thespian Society selected and produced the show with the help of the Tech Theatre Department in just 6 week! Our shortest production time ever!
This year, as well as the past year, takes bravery, creativity, and mindfulness. Those happen to all be attributes that we value here at the KO Knudson Academy of the Arts for the past 60 years! Did I mention it’s our Diamond Anniversary? Those ideals also formed the theme that encupmasses the shows you will see produced by the Theatre Department in the KO Theatre this year.
As I read through the, “Container of Sharks!” I could see that there were lessons to be learned from each of these super, fun vignettes. Sometimes I feel like these quirky contestants; who are pitching ideas, hoping for new beginnings, learning to be a better team, and forming alliances that often include new practices.
May this show bring you a laugh, take your mind away from the seriousness of life and give you a moment of peace and happiness.

Thank you so much for coming to “The Container Of Sharks”! This is the first show I have directed. I read this script and thought that it was hilarious. I am so very excited for others to enjoy it with me.
Every single student in the show is so talented and united to make this show possible. I hope you leave this show with the memory of the super hard working students who helped me to put this show on and with a belly ache from laughing so hard.
